rymenhildEarlier today, I was feeling rather gloomy. Then I received an email from the chair of a fellowship committee.
Folks, I'm getting paid to go look at manuscripts in England this summer.
Now I just have to do enough background research to be able to recognize what I'll be looking at.

It's not a full summer fellowship. I'm looking at the first few weeks in July. (The fact that my proposed scheduling happens to make it possible for me to acquire a shiny hardcover to read on the plane home is... coincidental. Really. You don't believe that?)
