You could be like me - stay in graduate school and live in another era anyway! I don't really poke my nose out of the Middle Ages very often... (well, other than to use my computer, and listen to music, and have flush toilets... but never mind)

I was Medieval German. This makes me what, a Yiddish scholar at all times? Sigh...

if I were to stay in grad school forever, I would really hope I'd get to be catonian latin and not medieval english! :)

Is Catonian Latin one of the dialects in which the verb vanishes and cannot be found for twenty words on end? (My Latin is heavily biased towards the medieval, personally...)
