Instead of reading the Confessio Amantis or preparing class discussion on The Faerie Queene, I just tried the Wikipedia-your-birthday meme.

I share my birthday with Christopher Marlowe and Charles II of England.

Have you ever said a foolish thing / done a wise one?

I'm not sure about wise actions, but I'm well stocked on foolish statements. Clearly, I don't have the talent to be king of England.

I wonder what calendar they know Muhammad's birthday from.

Queen Elizabeth II and...I don't know who else for mine

Not Hitler, though. That's the 20th.

e. e. cummings! That one I know off the top of my head.

*Wikis* Also Eisenhower, King James II, and . . . no one else I recognize. Hey, Errol Flynn died on my birthday, though, as did Bing Crosby!

I got the first crusade (!), rock bottom of the great depression, reports of UFOs at Roswell...and of course, the book release of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

Oh my. Lucrezia Borgia and Clarence Darrow. I suppose that means I have a tendency for what, ruthlessness?

Interesting. Have you noticed that the early people on the list tend to be artists, polititions, scientists and royalty, while the later (20th century) names are nearly all actors and sports stars? Rather pathetic in the grand scheme of things, really.
