In hopes of improving my week, I have links.
From
cataptromancer: Yes, Virginia, there are ninjas.
Not believe in ninjas! You might as well not believe in fairies. You might get your papa to hire men to watch in all the castle gates to see ninjas, but even if you did not see ninjas approaching (and why the hell would you, because they live and die in the shadows?), what would that prove? Nobody sees ninjas, but that is no sign that they will not kick your ass. The most awesome killers in the world are those that neither children nor men can see. Did you ever see fairies dancing on the lawn? Of course not, but that's no proof that they are not there. Nobody can conceive or imagine all the wonders there are unseen and unseeable in the world, and just how many people they can kill.
From The Onion: We Must Expand Our Nuclear Power Program...
We can no longer deny the facts: We need code-named heroes to fight the super-villains of tomorrow. Unless our government prioritizes scientific research and its resulting freak accidents, we have no one but ourselves to blame when we are unable to protect ourselves from robot executioners, giant creatures from the Earth's core, or invasions from the Skrull Empire.
From
the_gentleman: The Princes in the Tower were not murdered by Richard III, but were instead whisked off to Hogwarts.
