I'm starting an Orals Filter, so that I can post about how many lines of Elene I've read in any given day without boring the 99% of you who really don't care. (In the unlikely chance that you're curious, I read 85 lines today, which was 115 lines under my goal.)

Reply here if you want to be on the filter.

I do not know enough Old English to do more than say "ooh, pretty" at that link.

But... why not. :)

You, my dear, don't get a choice. You'd be on the filter if you asked me specifically not to be on it.

That said, I'm rather boggled by how many people seem to care about my productivity in Old English reading.

Oh good!

I think it's the fascination of watching a train wreck. *grins* No, you just know too many academic types.

Is there such a thing as too many academic types?

Because it's interesting! And I like knowing how friends are faring in their studies, because it usually lets me if it is/is not a bad time to e-mail or otherwise pester them. ^_^
