This is not a real update, I am afraid.

I am thankful for lots and lots of things, including (but not limited to) my studies, my friends, my family, my life in general, and my sister. (Yes, she's part of my family, but she gets a special mention anyway.)

Also, I have a meme, courtesy of deborah_judge.

Reading this made me go all melty. I am slightly concerned, however, at how many times "fun" appeared in your statements... but it doesn't seem like I have problems being taken seriously yet! ;)

Oh, don't worry. You see, almost all of my friends are serious intellectuals, but not nearly enough of them enjoy themselves. You're certainly a serious scholar, but you can arrange your life in such a way that you're not studying at every instant.

w00t. Now if only this enjoyable arrangement of my life didn't mean that I'll probably have to take an incomplete this semester... oh wait, I can blame it on my finicky fieldwork situation! Dang those bellydancers... ;)
