My hair, it is, now? Of course I would not dye my hair. Then I might look normal, and I wouldn't like that at all...

*solemnly* There are some very strange tales about my lord Arthur out there. Only reasonable that there should be strange stories about us too, although I wonder what cultural superstitions will lead to the theory that Old Ones have no eyelids.

He is my brother; what is there to say?

*lengthy pause*

My family, for years and years, was only my da and Cafall. And Mrs Evans, maybe, and John. *Bran's gaze darkens.* Mrs Rowlands, too.

Then I learned about my lord Arthur, but I never knew him. All I know of my mother is what my da and the rest told me, and they never knew her at all, really.

Having a brother, now, not a father or mother or aunt or uncle... it was a sudden thing, finding out about Mordred. I was glad, and am glad, but still I do not always know what to do or say around him. So easy to do the wrong thing, and make him angry, or become myself angry.

It is a good thing to have more family. I am glad to have a brother, and to be a brother.
