Somewhere out there, at the end of the universe, everyone is getting drunk together. By which I really do mean everyone. At last count, the population at the bar includes several Hogwarts graduates, three angels, two demons, one whatever-she-is from a random anime I've never heard of, the Lady Door of London Below, Benedick's fiancee Beatrice, a demigoddess or two, and Snow White. Stoppard's Guildenstern has just arrived, and I hear that Rosencrantz is on his way. Come to milliways_bar and watch the apocalypse with us!

Hmmn. If I think of a character perhaps I'll join. Chaucer springs to mind, although the writing in Middle English 1) becomes tiresome for everyone (incomprehensible for some) and 2) is hard to do right.

Maybe one of Chaucer's characters. Quite a number of pilgrims could work, not to mention Troilus, Pandarus, etc.

I do believe that's an old way to waste time on the Internet. Newly discovered perhaps. Dude, I'm so torn; I want to play, but if I don't go to bed, my carefully laid weekend plans will fall apart! *angsts*
