I am not getting anywhere at all on the paper grading.

Instead, I am using this wonderful Edward Gorey font (linked by Neil Gaiman) to produce Gashlycrumb Tinies usericons.

Does anyone want one?

ETA: Wow, this is addictive.

You could have a different one! Falling down the stairs is so passé.

Oooo. You know, I was just thinking of making myself an Edward Gorey icon, too. :kitten eyes:

Hee!

B is for Bran who
chose to forget.

Also? Lemony Snicket is evil about not solving the mysteries he brings up. It's... so frustrating. I love him. *huggles Book 12*

And I can't wait for the last one.

When you say Book 12, do you mean...

*googles*

*stares in utter shock*

How did I not know it was out yet?

Ok, now I really need to go back to grading, because I cannot buy new Snicket until the grading is done.

I suppose I was being a little obscure. Oh well.

Lemony's EVIL in this one! All the half-references to things that happened and the unfinished, interrupted sentences! So very frustrating because there are so many new mysteries and none of them are solved. IT'S SAD. And... Kit. And Dewey. And. And. And. *hugs* It has two great moments of reflection. You know how Snicket does, when everything is going on he'll pull back a bit and give some great speech that makes me all teary-eyed and sad. He does it twice in here. The one on the burning of books I plan on using someday.

SAPH. That was evil. Now I want to go out and buy a copy and let the grading go hang. This would be a very, very bad thing.

Actually, I made that one thinking of you. The book of Gramarye was in the clock, after all... but I can definitely produce another, too. After I get at least two more papers graded. :)

Oh, my. I've been holding off virtuously on reading book ten till #13's out, and you're making me want to read 10-12 Very Soon. Darn you.

rymenhild: I can't imagine what one'd do with "greythistle" because it scans badly, but I wonder what "t is for thistle" might yield.

Alas, no. I'm about an eighth of the way through the amount of work I'd intended to do today, and once I sign into Milliways I tend to stay for the night.
