This is not a real update, I am afraid.

I am thankful for lots and lots of things, including (but not limited to) my studies, my friends, my family, my life in general, and my sister. (Yes, she's part of my family, but she gets a special mention anyway.)

Also, I have a meme, courtesy of deborah_judge.

• You make excellent bread, although I have not eaten any of it in far too long.
  
• You have the kind of sense of humor that can spontaneously produce ferrets of inconvenience.
  
• You cant (chant? daven? there's got to be a verb form of "cantor"!) with deep feeling, a very fine voice and careful attention to detail
  
• Also, you're generally a mensch.

Oh, don't worry. You see, almost all of my friends are serious intellectuals, but not nearly enough of them enjoy themselves. You're certainly a serious scholar, but you can arrange your life in such a way that you're not studying at every instant.
